10 May Sport Stable Up and Running…
The Sport Stable, formerly Boulder Valley Ice and Indoor Sports, is up and running…almost. Hockey players (and parents) are so excited to have the two NHL size sheets of ice available to them in the new building in Downtown Superior. The turf field is also open for use, making the soccer and lacrosse players equally happy.
There are lots of exciting things yet to come inside the 150,000 square foot facility. The new restaurant Brunelleschi’s is under construction and should open this summer or early fall. They originate from Aspen, Colorado and are known for their amazing pizza. Brunelleschi’s will overlook the ice and turf so you can eat and watch your team. Sounds a little warmer, too. A two-story coffee shop is also under construction, aptly named Sticks Coffee. The upper level will also allow for the opportunity to watch the players on the ice.
Many locals are familiar with Impact Sports based in Broomfield. They are opening a new location in the Sport Stable and their portion of the building is also under construction and will house courts for volleyball and basketball as well as baseball and golf opportunities. They hope to open sometime this summer.
The Sport Stable is an amazing hub of activity and promises to be an important part of Downtown Superior.
